course description
Rosebay Audio taught a series of podcasting workshops with West Anchorage High School’s ELL classes in Spring 2023. Funded by an SEL in Action Award, instructor Kaitlin Armstrong guided students through the podcast production process, from concept to post-production.
curriculum
Rosebay Audio designed a curriculum tailored to three cohorts of ELL students, encompassing podcast design, field recording, interviewing, story structure, editing, mixing, and sound design. Students created podcasts documenting their lives as high school students, their family histories, and their experiences coming to Alaska.
